Dogs are welcome

Dogs are more than welcome at Sandsend Retreats, however to cover the extra cleaning costs, we ask for a fee of £25 per dog per stay. Online platforms like booking.com do not have the facility to take payments for pets so we have to collect that fee after the booking on this page.

If you booked direct with us and paid at the time of booking there is no need to do anything else.

Sandsend and the surrounding areas offer plenty for dogs, numerous walking trails, and many pubs, restaurants, and attractions where your dog can join you. 

However, please note:

• Dogs are not allowed on the furniture. We provide a dog bed and a blanket.

• Dog bowls are located in the cupboard under the sink.

• Muddy/wet dogs must be cleaned off before entering the house.

• Dogs must not be left alone in the property unless crated.

• Dog toileting must take place away from the house, and any mess must be cleaned up.
